What's Happening

The central application system (CAS) portal will open on July 1, 2023. These dates are also for fellowships not using CAS.  Important dates are as follows.

  • Applicant registration opens: Wednesday, June 30, 2023
  • CAS Target Date: Wednesday, August 23, 2023
  • Program and Applicant Rank list due: Monday, December 5, 2023
  • Match Results Announced: Monday, December 12, 2023
  • Post-match Vacancies: Tuesday, December 13, 2023
  • Training to begin: July 2024

The interview cycle will be conducted in person this year. However, programs can choose virtual interviews. 

For those using the CAS, all interview offers must occur through the central scheduling system.

Programs are strongly encouraged to start on July 8, 2024 to allow fellows to complete their residency, ending June 30, 2024.

Fellowship directors are strongly encouraged to coordinate start dates with the incoming fellow(s)’ Residency Program Director.
